About Rae Kyritsi

My Story

As a seasoned dispute resolution specialist based in the upper Midwest, I have dedicated my career to fostering constructive dialogue, facilitating positive change, and empowering individuals and organizations to navigate conflicts effectively.

I am the founder of Caldera Dialogue and Consulting Services, a consultancy firm committed to guiding clients through the intricacies of conflict management, change management, grievance processes, and community dialogue.

At Caldera, I specialize in developing tailored conflict engagement programs that promote collaboration, understanding, and sustainable resolutions.

In addition to my role at Caldera, I am deeply passionate about education and training in the field of dispute resolution. I have had the privilege of teaching mediation, arbitration, and negotiation, imparting valuable skills and insights to aspiring professionals.

For many years, I served as a coach for Loyola University Chicago's students participating in the prestigious Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Competition, fostering their growth and success on the global stage.

Prior to founding Caldera, I honed my expertise as the Programs Director at the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, where I played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's initiatives and impact. Beginning as a volunteer mediator in 2010 and a case manager in 2012, I immersed myself in the intricacies of dispute resolution, eventually earning certifications as a mediator in civil, criminal, elder, and family disputes, as well as becoming a certified mediation trainer. As Programs Director I oversaw mediation programs throughout Chicagoland and Cook County.

My journey in the field of dispute resolution has been defined by a commitment to community-based solutions, intentional dispute system design, and continuous learning. I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to positive change in communities, organizations, and individuals' lives, and I remain dedicated to advancing the field of conflict resolution through innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
